As Dropbuy does not handle payments ourselves, we have partnered up with experts in the field. Your payments are always secured.
Goods not funded in full, remain the property of Dropbuy Pty Ltd until fully paid for, then be shipped to you.

All items can be purchased outright, without participating in our Rewards-based funded orders.

Normal Bank EFT direct contribution

Use your name or order number as reference.

For electronic transfer the following conditions apply:

  1. The exact amount must be paid.
  2. The payment must be identified by supplying your order number as reference.
  3. Quotes and Invoices are valid for 7 days from day of issue for direct purchases.

Note: There is a R20000 payment limit if you use PayFast. For purchases exceeding that amount, please check-out using "Bank Transfer" EFT.

PayFast

- PayFast is a payments processing service for South Africans. PayFast enables easy, secure and instant transfer of money between online buyers and sellers.

- PayFast processes credit cards (Visa and MasterCard), Instant EFT (bank transfers to any of SA's four biggest banks get instantly verified) and Ukash.

- PayFast offers both buyer and seller protection, in that they verify the security of your transaction to the seller.  

Please note that Dropbuy will never send you an email/SMS requesting payment.

You will be redirected to the PayFast secure site to make payment. (more information available onhttps://payfast.io/ )
Expect a 48 hour payment clearance time frame when paying by credit card. Note that debit card payments may take additional time to clear.

Cash Deposit Payment

Please note that banks will charge a fee for any cash deposits made. Please do not make a cash deposit without confirming your order number and final amount you wish to fund.

 

Returns and Refunds:

Your satisfaction and online safety are our top priorities. We guarantee the quality of our products and we want you to be completely satisfied with your rewarded item. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your item, please let us know right away. You can return the purchased item/s within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or refund/ account voucher/credit of your initial contribution of the item(s), subject to the return conditions set out in this policy.

Once an email with your order number, full banking details (in case of cash deposits) and request for refund is received, a refund will be processed immediately. Please send your request for refund via email to a d m i n @ d r o p b u y . c o . z a .

 

Returned, unwanted goods will be accepted if:

  • you let Dropbuy know about the wish to return within 7 days and/or the goods are returned within 7 days (unopened in original condition, unused,unopened and re-sellable) from date of collection/delivery, for a full refund of the contribution amount, on that order. Return Shipping costs for orders places by mistake will not be reimbursed by Dropbuy. In person returns are welcomed.
  • returned within 10 days for any goods not meeting the intended purpose prior to an inquiry to Dropbuy, with explicit confirmation of the product meeting the purpose. Dropbuy will refund the return shipping costs.
  • returned within 7 days after delivery, still in the original packaging, unopened, which must be undamaged and in its original condition,with the original labels/stickers attached, in re-sellable condition.
  • should the item have been opened, an admin/stock replacement fee up to 20% may be deducted from any refund due

Once we inspect & clear your returned product, your account with us will be credited, should you not wish a replacement or exchange.
 

Shipping Refunds

Shipping charges on returns are not generally refundable. Should your item be damaged during delivery/outbound shipping, please let us know immediately.


Items on Special

Some items on special may require additional courier service. This service fee is generally not included, but where applicable we will carry the shipping costs of smaller items.
 

Stock/product depiction and availability

While every effort is made to ensure correct product images, Dropbuy is not in control of product design/colour variations that may occur from time to time.
We do our best to ensure product availability as best possible, but in such case that your purchased item is not available any longer, we will inform you immediately and advise possible solutions - refund or suitable replacement. All contents & peripherals on images and product depictions are for illustrative purposes and are not included in the product itself, unless specifically expressed in the product description paragraph.

We want to ensure that you can always leave with a pleasurable shopping experience.  In an event that you are not 100% satisfied with your product, you may choose to return the product, and we will either exchange, or replace, or credit your account with us.

We allow you 15 days to exchange your product!
If you collected from us, please feel free to come and see us again with your returned purchase.

 

Exchanges

As a courtesy we allow you 15 days to exchange your purchase, from date of collection/delivery. Unless the product had out-of-box-failure or is faulty in any way, products must be in original packaging, un-opened, with labels, undamaged, unused.

We reserve the right not to accept:

  • misused/ self-damaged goods
  • goods without or missing labels or original packaging
  • personalised, assembled or installed goods

Should a mistake arise in an incorrect product model/name/size being delivered, please contact us immediately to arrange a return. Please try not to remove the product from the packaging.

 

'Hidden' Damaged product & Out-of-Box failure Policy

We know it can be frustrating to find that your product does not switch on or makes a strange noise. In such a case, we will replace your item once it has cleared inspection, at no cost to you. You may choose an exact replacement, equivalent product, or opt for credit to your account. You may drop your product off with us, or we will arrange our courier to collect at your convenience – no cost to you. You have 10 calendar days from day of collection/delivery to action this policy.

 

Warranty Policy

If your product fails within its warranty period, and the defect/fault is found to be manufacturer related (excluded are damage cause by incorrect use or normal product wear&tear), you will be able to exchange it for an exact or similar product or opt for the credit amount your item was purchased for.

If a returned item is found to have failed because of misuse (e.g. someone decided to grind marbles instead of coffee beans), either un/-intentional user damage (e.g. someones decides to test a new cell phone cover by driving over the phone), or still is in fully functional condition by design (e.g. pressing a key-code activates the TV, but this was not seen in the user manual), an exchange or replacement will not be issued and you will be accountable for possible repairs (done through Dropbuy or your local repair shop), administrative and courier costs.

All electronics, computers, laptops and computer related parts have a 1-year, 2-year repair/exchange warranty or limited lifetime warranty*, while most home appliances carry a six month warranty.
*Some manufacturers offer a Lifetime Warranty, subject to specific uses of their products. As this is binding to the manufacturer, please enquire with us should you need to have repairs made.

 

Excluded from returns, exchanges and credit:

  • software & Music CD’s (if the original wrapping was opened)
  • music & downloads (if it was found to be downloaded)
  • opened food items for non defects
  • extended product warranties - please check with the manufacturer/insurer

 

Refunds on Vouchers & Gift Cards

Your Voucher or Gift Card is valid for:

  • 3 years (yes, 3 years) from day of purchase.
If the voucher/card was not used/partially used before the expiry date, it may be refunded within 3 years after its purchase date

You are liable for costs of returning the physical Gift Card to us. Once the Gift Card is cleared for credit, your account will be credited.

 

Promotions and Give-aways

1. "Promotions and Give-aways" is open to anyone over 18 years with a valid SA ID.
2. Only one item can we won by an individual.
3. Participants must provide the following upon claiming the prize:
 - Copy of their SA ID in PDF format
 - Phone number
 - email Address
 - Delivery Address
4. You will be notified via e-mail if you are a winner.
5. You need to reply within 14 days with the requested details above.
6. You agree that your first name will be published as a winner on the Dropbuy Facebook page and Dropbuy main website
7. Prizes will be sent via Courier.
8. Prizes can not be exchanged for cash refund or for store credit or a different product/s.
9. Dropbuy reserves the right to review prizes, based on availability.
10. Promotions and Give-aways terms subscribe to those laid out in the general T&C Policies


 Dropbuy will not be liable for:  

-Any interruption, malfunction, downtime or other failure of the site or online services, our system, databases or any of its components, for whatever reason.
-Any loss or damage arising from your orders, contribution decisions, purchases or disposal of goods and services, including financial contributions from third parties, based on the information provided on this site.
-Any loss or damage with regard to customer data or other data directly or indirectly caused by malfunction of Dropbuy’s systems, third party systems, power failures, unlawful access to or theft of data, computer viruses or destructive code on our system or third party systems; programming defects; negligence on our part or caused by the year 2000 computer problem where applicable.
-Any interruption, malfunction, downtime or other failure of goods or services provided by third parties, including, without limitation, third party systems such as the public switched telecommunication service providers, internet service providers, electricity suppliers (currently Eskom). Including Local authorities and certification authorities.
-Any event over which we have no direct control.

· While our website is a listing of products, we do not take payments on our server or shopping platform. You will always be redirected to your bank's interface for a secure payment.
· All customers subscribe and accept to terms of agreements, including any warranties, that will apply to the transactions & products.
· Terms & Conditions may be accessed via our main shopping website. (scroll up)
· Goods will be held by Dropbuy until your purchase transaction has run the funding course to reflect in the company account. Product dispatch takes place immediately after. Please allow up to 30 days (but we sure hope this never happens!) for the delivery of your goods.
· Your purchasing details are automatically sent to your registered email provided. Please maintain copies of those emails for your reference. · Dropbuy also automatically receives a copy.
· A rewards-based order is not a confirmation of purchase.
· A rewards-based order does not have a guaranteed delivery date.
· As by definition, a rewards-based contribution is a non-financial gain, it's not a financial investment.
· If you no longer want to your item, let us know so we can add the initial amount paid to your account. You can use this for any new order, outright or rewards-based.
· Please refer to our Payments, Returns, T&C Policies so you know what you can expect from us, and what we can expect from you.
· For alternative dispute resolutions, please send us a detailed email so that we can put your smile back where it belongs.
· Please read our privacy policy regarding payments, payment information and personal information collected.
